Birds and Church Building

This piece sold at the art show, but I wanted to post it because it is a little different from some of the other churches I’ve done.

ART SHOW=dEliGHtFul

Well, the art show was a big success.  We enjoyed great food, fellowship and, of course, hand-made items from amazingly talented artists!  Allison brought a few of her paintings as well as some really cool rings.  Claire brought a few of her pieces as well.  Erica brought paintings and hand-made vintage bracelets.  Amanda Blake brought four of her pieces, and Amy brought some crochet headbands.  My older sister, Liz, donated a few of her famous church paintings.  Mandy and Elaine both brought absolutely fabulous photos.  Robert brought photos and pottery.  One of my second-graders, little Natalie, also donated two paintings, which were a big hit!  And, of course, I had a few of my pieces in there as well.

Quite a big of money was raised, all of which will go towards the advancement of the Gospel message in the lives of these precious boys (see sidebar for more info).  We were so thrilled at the turnout, as well as how much FUN it was, that we are already planning another event in November.

Thank you to all of you who came out!  And if you didn’t, we hope to see you in November.

P.S.–If you can believe it, I didn’t take any pictures.  So sorry!
